NuHer brings gynaecologists, physicians, a dermatologist, a psychiatrist, psychologists and a dietitian together on one plan for each woman. Perimenopause and menopause affect sleep, mood, skin, bones, weight and intimate health at the same time, so care works best when specialists talk to each other rather than treating one symptom each. Our team sees women at our clinic in Nariman Point, Mumbai, and by video consultation across India.

How our team works together

  1. One starting point. Most women begin with a menopause consultation with one of our gynaecologists or physicians, who reviews your symptoms, periods, medical and family history.
  2. Checks before treatment. We arrange the tests you need to rule out other causes, such as thyroid, anaemia and vitamin D deficiency, and to plan treatment safely.
  3. The right specialists, when you need them. If skin and hair changes, mood, sleep, weight or relationships are a big part of what you are going through, we bring in our dermatologist, psychiatrist, psychologists or dietitian, so your plan covers all of it.
  4. Follow-up. We review how you are doing at about three months and then regularly, and adjust your plan as your body changes.

Who should I see first?

Most women start with a menopause consultation with one of our gynaecologists or physicians. We bring in other specialists as your plan needs them.

Can I consult a NuHer doctor if I don't live in Mumbai?

Yes. Our doctors see women in person at our Nariman Point clinic and by video consultation from anywhere in India.

Do your doctors prescribe hormone therapy?

Our doctors prescribe HRT and body-identical hormones when they are suitable, after a full review and the right screening tests, and also offer non-hormonal options.
