Gynaecologist assessment
A private, unhurried look at dryness, painful sex, low libido and bladder symptoms.
NuHer programme
The NuHer Intimate health programme is private, doctor-led care for changes many women notice around menopause but find hard to talk about: vaginal dryness, pain during sex, low libido and bladder symptoms. You are seen by a gynaecologist, with counselling support for you, or for you and your partner, if you would like it.

Falling estrogen around menopause affects the tissues of the vagina and bladder. For many women this means dryness, itching or burning, discomfort or pain during sex, needing to pass urine more often, or more frequent urine infections. Desire can change too, for physical and emotional reasons. These symptoms are common, and they are not something you simply have to put up with. They are also easy to leave unmentioned in a general appointment, which is why we have a dedicated programme for them.
First consultation. You meet one of our gynaecologists, in person at our Nariman Point clinic in Mumbai or by video from anywhere in India. Your doctor asks about your symptoms, your periods or menopause, your bladder, your medicines and anything else relevant. If an examination would help, they will explain why; that part needs an in-person visit.
Your plan. Your doctor talks you through local treatment options and any other care that may help. If the emotional side or your relationship is affected, you can add sessions with our counsellor, on your own or with your partner.
Follow-up and review. You see your doctor again to look at what has changed and decide together what to continue, adjust or stop.
Painful sex and low desire can affect confidence and relationships, and it is not unusual for couples to stop talking about it. Counselling gives you a calm space to do that, alongside the medical care. Priyanka Kapoor works with relationships and family life, and can see you alone or together.
Many women find this the hardest part. When you message us on WhatsApp, you only need to say you would like to know about the Intimate health programme. You do not have to describe your symptoms until you are with your doctor. You can also read our guide to menopause and vaginal dryness beforehand.
Women in perimenopause or after menopause with vaginal dryness, discomfort during sex, reduced desire or bladder symptoms, and couples who would like support with the changes these bring.
No. These changes can start in perimenopause. If you have symptoms like these at any stage, our gynaecologists can assess them.
Yes, for counselling. Couple and relationship counselling with Priyanka Kapoor is part of the programme if you would like it.
Not always. Your doctor will explain whether an examination would help and will only carry one out with your consent, at our Nariman Point clinic.
MENOSTRONG is a supplement formulated to support intimate and urinary comfort. It is optional and does not replace an assessment or treatment advised by your doctor.
